Don't Push It

Posted by Zorbia - October 26th, 2010

Okay, so on the off chance that anyone would actually read my profile, I am posting this to see what you think of my work in progress, Don't Push It, or DPI for short.

Its pretty good so far, and I am planning for a pretty decent storyline, in comparison to other flash games out there. If you want to have a go at the first couple of levels, click the link below and post your comments back here.

Thanks,
Sam Williams

PLEASE NOTE: this is nowhere near finished and I would be ashamed to release it in it's current form. There are still little bugs, like the 'game over' screen, but if you see any, other than very major ones that I would have already seen, such as the game over screen cannot send you back to that level, then please post them here. Thanks!

The premise doesn't make a lot of sense on paper, as Point and Click Shooters and Point and Click Adventures aren't combined very often, though there's a reason for that. I kept asking myself the question of why can I not simply shoot my way out?

Also, in the 'breaking friend of of cell' part, clicking the wrong one makes the game unwinnable without reloading the game.

Decent enough idea and scripting, but it'll need a whole lot of polishing before it's ready to go.

Yes yes I know. This is an unfinished game. It is no where near even half done. I didn't make that clear enough in the post. (Edited now)

Everything will be fixed, just for now I have left it at its most basic form, so that I can see whether the concept/story needs changing before I get too far into it.
